BlazBlue Entropy Effect X features 14 playable characters from the iconic BlazBlue series, along with two additional crossover characters from the acclaimed titles Dead Cells and ICEY, and presents an all-new storyline created by the original story scenario writer for the series.

In BlazBlue: Entropy Effect X, numerous iconic characters from the BlazBlue series return in a different way with their original voice actors reprising their roles. Licensed by Arc System Works, the game features an all-new original storyline created by the original scenario writers that introduces five brand-new characters, each brought to life by returning fan-favourite voice actors.

With thousands of freshly recorded lines of dialogue, the story draws players into the mysterious Sea of Possibility, inviting them to embark on a completely new adventure in a desperate fight to save the world – just ahead of the game’s official launch.

Astrolabe Games today revealed a brand-new gameplay trailer showcasing the ultimate challenge, “Extreme Zone”, of the highly-anticipated 2D action roguelite game, BlazBlue Entropy Effect X, featuring the first-look of the boss “Takemikazuchi” and “Hades: Izanami”.

As the most challenging mode in BlazBlue: Entropy Effect X, Extreme Zone can only be unlocked after players reach specific progression milestones. Designed as the ultimate test for players seeking both combat intensity and the sense of accomplishment, players will descend into the deepest reaches of the Sea of Possibility, gaining access to the final stage available only in this mode – the Void. More than ten powerful elite enemies may appear at random throughout this stage.

One certainty remains, however: Takemikazuchi and Hades: Izanami await all challengers at the end of the Void, ready to deliver the ultimate challenge.
