“The Devil Within: Satgat” Arrives at Taipei Games Show 2024!
SHANGHAI - January 19, 2024 - Astrolabe Games is excited to announce the official unveiling of "The Devil Within: Satgat" in China, (Chinese Name “笠鬼”) with a brand new localized promotional trailer to be revealed tonight on bilibili’s 2023 GoTY event. Players will play as Kim Rip, a Royal Guard whose humanity is gradually slipping away, in this thrilling 2.5D action-adventure platforming journey.
Slated for release in the first half of 2024 on PC via Steam, "The Devil Within: Satgat" is developed by Newcore Games from Korea, with Astrolabe Games overseeing publishing and distribution in the Greater China Region. Newcore Games will also be showcasing the game at the upcoming Taipei Game Show 2024. Attendees can experience the game firsthand at booth S04 in the “INDIE HOUSE” area. At the same time, a demo version with full Simplified and Traditional Chinese support is now available on Steam.

THE STORY
The Ebon Sting, a foreboding black tower of unknown origin, arrived mysteriously and altered the formerly tranquil world forever. At first, the Crimson Oil that seeped from the tower seemed to bring prosperity, but soon after, demonic entities appeared and over half of the population began to display unusual symptoms. The remaining citizens recognized that the Ebon Sting was responsible for the abnormalities and turned to General Hong Sang and Royal Guard Kim Rip, who embarked on a mission to eliminate the source at the tower's core.
In a world decimated by destruction, the majority of its inhabitants have succumbed to devilization and roam aimlessly. Assume the role of Kim Rip, a Royal Guard, on a quest to unveil the enigmas of the Ebon Sting and purge the world of its corruption.
